I had a dream where I was on a distant planet, walking around in a rocky desert, but it was SO different from earth. The desert floor was stark white soft sand, and all the rocks were gemestones. Like towering cliffs of amethyst, emerald and ruby. I could see the sun shining through the rocks, it was incredibly beautiful.
But it's abstract. The meaning is not in what I see. It's about what you think, or rather how we think about it differently. Colors, shapes, tones and lines effect us individually. Abstraction is a solitary experience, not a collective one.
